Keyhole Productions was formed by Kris and Eugene McDonald, during their time at Liverpool John Moores University.

 

Film making was largely analogue when our story started which feels like a long way from where we are today. 

Although the technology was different, our approach to business and the art of storytelling remains the same. 

 

We began producing corporate films for local companies and organisations, developing our reputation and learning the skills essential to business. 

 

We were based in Liverpool City Centre for over a decade and in 2015 the decision was made to purchase our own building and establish a custom built space. 

We designed a space that would be tailored to our needs and the needs off our clients and now we are in our new home, a building we are proud of and one that has enabled our business to further expand.  

 

This brings us to our new home, a building on the outskirts of the city, allowing our studio to expand and business expand. 

 

Over the years we have been involved in various projects, film making, photography, animation and production, 

projects for local companies and international organisations.  

 

As well as offering production services we also offer crew and facility hire. 

Looking For Lennon is one example of a project where we supplied crew and facilities for a feature documentary which had international release. 

 

Our clients include Arriva, Red Row, Lancashire Police, The NHS to name a few. 

 

The team has grown over the years but at the core of the business are Kris and Eugene McDonald. Steven Brocklehurst, sales director and a number of full time creative staff. 

 

As well as our in-house team, we have a network of local creatives plus facilities companies able to source specific equipment if required by our clients. 

 

Creative projects are our passion. We have a proven track record of creating items for companies large and small.
